Founded in 2024 by Paula Marie Bruss and Hero Bean Stevenson,

Raum is a Los Angeles based gallery specializing in midcentury and antique design, contemporary sculpture, and photography. The ethos of Raum is rooted in a shared passion for collecting sentimental objects rich with their own stories, and bringing them together to create spaces that evoke a sense of resonance, peace, and natural beauty.

Born in Hamburg, Paula is an interior designer living in Los Angeles. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Architecture, she founded her namesake firm, Paula Bruss Design, in 2023. She loves baking sourdough bread. 

​

Hero was born in New York City and grew up primarily in Los Angeles, where she is currently based. Following a Bachelor's degree in Art History, she went on to receive her Master's in Psychology. She is a photographer and lifelong equestrian.
